Nice Ceresota flour & agriculture club celluloid pins

$30.00

The Ceresota pin is approx. 1-1/4 inches across (3.2 cm), while the smaller pin is approx. 5/8 inch across (1.6 cm). Both have very fine celluloid fronts, the ‘Ceresota’ has some of the backpaper left (enough to see that it is a ‘Whitehead & Hoag’ with pat. date 1896), while the small pin has embossed the ‘Whitehead & Hoag’ name and pat. date 1894!

Description

Here are a couple of celluloid advertising pinbacks that I really like the looks of. The first is a nice ‘Ceresota’ flour pin with the trademark little boy cutting a slice of bread with a knife with the slogan ‘For Young or Old–the Best Flour Sold’ above him! The small pinback has a sheaf of wheat crossed with a key, a sickle and a staff and the letters “P of H” across this image.
