1893 ‘De Laval Cream Separator’ trade card

$38.00

It is approx. 4-1/4 inches wide X 6-11/16 inches high (10.8 x 17.0 cm.) and is in very good condition–there are no tears, creases or stains; there are only some minor ‘bumps’ at the two lower corners and the middle left side margin. There is completely textual advertising for all their different types of separators on the reverse, and on the front says it was printed in Berlin (Germany) by ‘Kunstdruck A. & C. Kaufmann’.

Description

This is a great oversized trade card for the ‘Alpha B Separator’ by the De Laval Separator Co. of 74 Cortlandt Street, New York, showing a european maid (since this was printed for the World’s Columbian Exposition of Chicago in 1892-93 and the wording is German at the bottom!) operating the cream separator.
